Departing from a more general problem regarding the degree of structural rigidity (or of structural determinations) in Marx, the study reflects the insertion of the peasant problem in Marxist theory, and discusses the current relevance of the marxist emphasis on the analysis of this category of producers within the context of capitalist development in Brazilian agriculture.Downloads
