This article shows how one may use the mathematical model known as the Law of Categorical Judgment, to rank stimuli in importantance following the perceptions of a population of judges. As an application, in a context were the stimuli are production activities in science and technology, we determine, for Embrapa Cerrados, the relative importance of those activities according to the views of the research staff of the institution.Downloads
