Abstract

Scientific knowledge as necessary false consciousness is a critique of science. Such criticism is underlined under two propositions: that it needs to come theoretically, and that it must express a situation under conflict. On the first aspect, the concepts of first nature, second nature and necessary false consciousness are developed in order to ilustrate, on the second aspect, how science is enframed: as part of the material needs of the second nature but justified on the basis of the human/nature relationship in the first nature.
