VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT AS A LEARNING STRATEGY IN THE AGRICULTURAL VOCATIONAL EDUCATION

Abstract

Essay on the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in daily educational practices through a virtual space mediated by a customized, flexible, interactive teaching methodology, able to offer diverse and challenging situations to students and teachers. The goal is a reflection on the implementation of a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) as a space for working and living together, following the adoption of a methodology as a pedagogical strategy and guiding the teaching-learning process in the discipline of informatics to the agricultural education in the Federal Network of Vocational Scientific and Technological Education. The proposal is to develop a collaborative learning environment that emphasizes the active participation and interaction of both students and teachers rather than the passive model of learning in which students play only the role of listeners and the teacher is the center of information and holder of knowledge. In this environment are proposed activities to be developed in research projects that require students to acquire knowledge of computers and allow the teacher to interact with the theme proposed by the student, establishing thus a bidirectional channel.
