Abstract

A perspectiva crítica sobre a ciência fundamenta-se, usualmente, na pressuposição de que existe uma estrutura de conhecimento paralela à ordem econômica mundial, em que os chamados países do centro criam e legitimam o conhecimento essencial requerido para a manutenção da ordem econômica mundial. Os países periféricos absorvem ou adaptam o conhecimento que, inicialmente, foi legitimado no centro.
