Abstract

A short synopsis, a description of a new species (Sarifer seabrai, from Dominican Republic) and a key to the genera of neotropical Closterini are presented. Among the Prionini, Prionus (Trichoprionus) aureopilosus, n. subgen., n, sp., from Dominican Republic, is described.
