A feeding test for sheep was carried out with two by-products of sugarcane processing: bagasse pith and distillery yeast-cream as a fibre and protein supplement, respectively, to which some milled corn grains were added in order to balance nutritive values. Five sheep were fed individually for fourteen days, and did not show any feed refusal. This fact permitted the determination of the digestibility values of dry matter (71.6%), organic matter (75.3%), protein (72.6%), fibre (35.5%), nitrogen-free extract (84.6%) and ether extract (70.0%), and the evaluation of the total digestible nutrients (TDN = 70.48%). These values show that this mixture can be considered as a possible option for animal feeding.
