Abstract

This article analyses the scientific production of two scientific magazines "Ciência e Cultura" and "Ciência Hoje" in terms of the relationship between agriculture and environment in Brazil, in the period from 1972 ("Eco 72") to 1992 ("Eco 92"). The objective is to analyse what the Brazilian scientific community has published in this area, concentrating on the following aspects: the approach, the thematic emphasized and the knowledge areas that stand out during the period of study.
