Abstract

This article is an analysis of the modern biotechnology and its bioindustry potential in the areas of agriculture and agribusiness. In this perspective Amazonia's participation has been analysed, through of the characteristic variables: biodiversity, deficiency of investment with regional funds, regulation of the access of genetics resources and associated traditional knowledge, amazonic experience with regional development and establishment of biotechnology research in Amazonia
