Municipal actions require planning as a continuous and permanent process of prevention, ordination and control of the cities and city halls management, considering social, economic, political, cultural, urban and rural approaches. The objective is to analyze the strategies, information, public services and information technologies, and their relationships with strategic digital city projects in 115 municipalities of state of Paraná, Brazil. All municipalities researched have urban or rural areas, neighbourhoods or properties. The research methodology emphasizes a comparative case study that included municipalities with digital initiatives defined by Rede Cidade Digital do Paraná. The results obtained describe the analyses of the strategies related to information technology, 680 information available, 304 public services offered and 231 information technology resources. The conclusion reiterates that the implementation of strategic digital city projects can promote the improvement of public services, government decisions and the quality of life of citizens, as well as urban and rural development.Downloads
