Due to the importance of family agribusiness in the economic and social context in a western mesoregion of state of Santa Catarina, Brazil and a southwestern mesoregion of state of Paraná, Brazil, this research aims to develop a tooling model that enables the family farmer to perform decision-making focused on cost management, by activity, and that suits the specific context of small rural properties, enabling the aid in decision-making. The methodology used for the development of the proposed model was the analysis of the bibliographic portfolio of 29 articles, and identification of the variables, as well as research gaps. Subsequently, these gaps were adapted in an existing model with a local emphasis. The application of the model took place in Bela Vista property, located in the municipality of São Lourenço do Oeste, Santa Catarina and, as a result, after the segmentation, the activity group B stands out, which consists of the activities E, F and B, which may be performed on a larger scale, without the other activities being influenced. The proposed model showed to be relevant and able to be applied to the other family agricultural properties.Downloads
