Advances in knowledge related to Agroecology are poorly communicated to society. Some counter-hegemonic political facts linked to the agrifood system take effect from the production of meanings and interpretations generated by alternative media circuits. Assuming the relationship between aesthetics and politics and the need to think and act in the formulation of other political representations in the contemporary world, popular groups and collectives formulated the Sementeia platform, seeking to integrate information technologies, production of knowledge and social resistance. The proposal is to disseminate (mainly audiovisual) content in an articulated and networked way, encouraging other popular groups to produce their own media and also disperse it through the platform. Considering the productive autonomy of these groups, the study worked with the "creole process of symbolic production", a process coherent with the principles of horizontality of Agroecology and Popular Education for the dissemination of peasant identities of partner groups. The study shared an example of this process reporting the experience of the project Turma Luiz Beltrame, of a course on "cinema, youth and ruralities", managed by the partnership between a research center of agrarian and environmental studies and the Sementeia collective.Downloads
