The objective of this work was to evaluate the influence of different doses of Raiza biostimulant on the initial growth of sweet potato plants. The experiment was carried out in a greenhouse, in a completely randomized block design, with six treatments and four replicates, with a total of 24 plants. The treatments (biostimulant doses in milliliter per plant) were composed by: T1, the control without biostimulant application; T2, 2 mL; T3, 4 mL; T4, 6 mL; T5, 8 mL; and T6, 10 mL. The following parameters were evaluated: fresh and dry weights of roots; fresh and dry weights of shoots; number of leaves; branch length; root/shoot ratio; and specific leaf weight. The parameters did not differ with the biostimulant applications in the initial growth of sweet potatoes. Further investigation is required to verify the response of sweet potato to the product used, especially for the dosages.
