Abstract

This work aims to evaluate technological innovations and the main demands of Brazilian marine shrimp farming. The prospective study was carried out at the XVI Fenacam, a Brazilian national shrimp fair in 2019, using interviews. Among the results, it was identified that the exhibiting companies offered cutting-edge products and inputs, and launched new technologies aimed at new cultivation trends. Themes such as the importance of good management practices associated with different cultivation and biosafety systems in production were the main technological trends presented for shrimp farming.
