Agrarian reform in Brazil has been discussed for more than forty years. Since the New Republic, the Movement for Landless Workers has appeared with a resulting better organization of both urban and rural workers and an increase in the occupation of unproductive lands. Occupation, resistance and production processes call for education. This paper presents two themes: collective work and use of technology. Aroun both themes, different representations of farmers are settled on the Farm Ipanema, Iperó County in the State of São Paulo. Knowledge gained has indicated the paths for environmental education projects aiming at strengthening autonomy and social participation in the search for alternative agrosilvopastoral models which may prove to be more sustainable.Downloads
