Abstract

The incentive to the familiar production as a strategic guideline to the rural progress is being the main subject under discussion by people interested in this question and by the current government. The studies point out that the familiar agriculture will bring many advantages to the Brazilian society. The agricultural informatization will certainly have a very important role in this new modernization process. It will contribute to increase productivity and to improve quality of rural activities. The objective of this work is to present a management model to agricultural productive systems implementable by a computer program. This model provides a simple and efficient standard control of the farm management activities. An approach to automatize the software development process for computer programs based on that model is presented too. It would be costly to produce them through conventional approaches because Brazilian agriculture includes a large number of cultures and breedings. Besides, these programs have similar aspects of control and funcionality which enable the automatic development.
