This work situates the process of creation of agricultural technology within a wider context, without, however, failing to emphasize the specificity of what is called a technological practice. For the fulfillment of this task initial attention is given to (1) the nature of the concepts, (2) the debate over autonomy/non-autonomy of science and technology, and (3) the relationships between science and technology. The basic argument tries to make evident the importance of investigating the social aspects of technology, i.e., how technology is produced and used.Downloads
