About the Journal

Science & Technology Journals (S&TJ) (Cadernos de Ciência & Tecnologia - CC&T) is an interdisciplinary publication published by the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation - Embrapa.

The S&TJ aims to foster reflection and debate through articles that critically analyze technological and socioeconomic issues related to rural development. These texts discuss the social, political and cultural implications of the process of technology generation, development and transfer. Scientific trends in agribusiness are also addressed from institutional, social, political, cultural, managerial and market perspectives. Topics such as intellectual property, sustainable development, territorial development, family farming, R&D management, agroecology and international trade are addressed in the various issues of Science & Technology Journals.

The S&TJ accepts original scientific contributions from the various areas and institutions that deal with the above-mentioned themes.

Submissions must fit the journal's editorial line and comply with the submission rules.

The S&TJ is indexed in the following databases: Agris (FAO), Agricola (USA), Agrobase (BR/Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply), Brazilian Agricultural Research Database (BR/Embrapa).
