Investigations of Trichomonas foetus of bulls in the states of São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro and Guanabara, Brazil

Abstract

Examination of 847 dairy bulls from 202 herds in the states of São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro and Guanabara revealed that 14.6% were infected with Trichomonas faetus. Infected bulls were found in 57 (28.2%) of the herds examined.
