Abstract

This paper presents a study of the relative efficiency of the six most popular commercial broiler rations used in Rio Grande do Sul. Differences for gain of weight, feed conversion, pigmentation, fat distribution and length and width of breast were significant, clearly showing the importance of good feeding in raising chickens.
