Abstract

The experimental infection of Didelphis marsupialis with the cattle tick fever agents with IPV strain (Chaplin et al. 1987) resulted positive to Babesia bovis in four infected animals. The parasites were observed in the peripherical blood (0,038%) between the 9th and 21st day; body temperature elevated to 36,8°C and the erithrocyte size reduced till 4 mm.
