Abstract

The effects of different intervals between liming and triple superphosphate on soil-P availability were evaluted in greenhouse experiment, using four Latosols (Oxisols) under cerrado vegetation. Liming was applied at two levels and P-fertilizer applied 0, 30, 60, 90 and 120 days after liming. Phosphorus application after different liming intervals, when compared to the simultaneous application of lime and phosphorus, did not show differences in P-uptake by sorghum plants neither in the available-P levels determined with the North Caroline extractor (0.025N H2SO4 and 0.05N HCI).
