Abstract

Planting spacings were studied for the pineapple production in fruit weight, at the sea level. The spacing of 1.20 m and 1.50 m between rows were found the moat approppriated for production of havier fruits. The data found out were statiscally significant at the 5% level. At the same time the spacing of the plants in the rows were found the best ones 0.40 m and 0.50 m. The production of the slips by the plants were observed In bigger number, however with the spacing from 0.40 m to 0.60 m between rows at 1% of level.
