Abstract

This paper shows a mathematical procedure of a forest inventory of 32 ha, using a model of line sampling. One hundred and seventy-two trees in 20 sampling plots of 600 square meters each were measured. The average volume per hectare is 38.32 m³. The sampling error is equal to 4.15%.
