Abstract

BRS 1015 is the first Embrapa's maize single cross hybrid for Southern Brazil. It is an early maturity genotype, with high yield potential, good resistance to leaf disease, high tolerance to root and stalk lodging, excellent ear coverage, short stature, and erect plant type. BRS 1015 is indicated for the normal sowing date in Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and south of Paraná.
