The State of Paraná accumulated in recent decades a large volume of data collected by various institutions. The implementation of official networks of weather stations by Agronomic Institute of Parana (IAPAR), National Institute of Meteorology (INMET), and Paraná Waters Institute made possible to organize important historical records for climatology studies and climate risk zoning. The implementation of SIMEPAR - Meteorological System of Paraná – represented a milestone in the provision of forecasts and weather information that enabled direct agricultural activities with greater speed and accuracy. In addition, institutions of the cooperative sector as the ABC Foundation have invested with great expertise in the collection and dissemination of meteorological information to producers. From this database and generated information, it has been possible to make available products of great interest to agriculture in the state of Parana.Downloads
