In this article we analyse the strategies of the tobacco industry and the dilemmas of the sectors that oppose those strategies or that seek for alternatives to the culture of smoking. The paper discusses, from a socio-environmental, inter and trans-disciplinary perspective, the history of tobacco production, its industrialization e and consumption of the products of tobacco. We give special attention to the theory of risk, besides presenting the epidemiological and biomedical point of view. In the analysis, we proposed two operational concepts: strategic network and multi-fragmentary or anti-tobacco network.Downloads
