The article verifies the adaptation of the activities of Science & Technology to the real dynamics of the agriculture and cattle ranching in Amazon through convergence indicators among the structure of the scientific-technical production of CPATU and the composition of the productions value of the products estimated by the IBGE in the Region. Starting from this two analytic steps are taken: a comparison with the tendencies of the same variables in Brazil as a whole shows a very small convergence with Amazon region; an institutional analysis tries to demonstrate the reason of this performance. In a third moment it shows the present possibilities of change in this tendency.Downloads
