The objective of this article was to describe the methodological steps and results of the Plataforma Agrowiki development, that is a platform whose purpose is to provide technical and scientific support to the rural extension in the state of Amapá, Brazil, which is managed by the Instituto de Extensão, Assistência e Desenvolvimento Rural do Amapá (RURAP). Collaborative meetings were held to build the platform with stakeholders. This way, through documents and information provided, it was possible to develop a Canvas business model and a Canvas value proposition, which provided the knowledge and development of the main features to meet user demands on the platform. The validation of the tool showed the importance of systematizing the scientific technical knowledge in a digital environment that integrates information from academic production, such as the technical perceptions produced by extension agents in the service and interaction with rural producers. Thus, this information can be accessed at any time and serve as support and guidance to the producers and the extension workers themselves, in the process of continuing education, which also contributes to the management improvement, since it generates information through the services carried out that can help with the decision-making by RURAP technicians and managers.
