Abstract

The purpose of this experiment was the evaluation of reappearance of results in experiments with tissue cultures. The treatments were the all possible combinations of benzylaminopurin (0.0, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0 e 4.0mg/l) and naftalen acetic acid (0.0, 0.2 and 0.4 mg/l) on "MS" medium, with twelve replications. The explants were nodal segments of Pyrus betulifolia L. The experiment was repeated four times, every month. The results showed the occurrence of change when the same experiment was repetead; usually, the best treatment is the same, but the values observed are different for each time the experiment is repeated; in tissue cultures, one experiment must be repeated several times and, if possible, in different laboratories.
