Trigo BR 35 (Triticum aestivum L.) is a spring wheat cultivar developed by the Centro Nacional de Pesquisa de Trigo/EMBRAPA, in Passo Fundo, RS, Brazil. Trigo BR 35 tested earlier as line PF 83144, was released for the state of Rio Grande do Sul in 1989 and for Santa Catarina and Paraná in 1990, where it presented superior yield when compared to the checks. Trigo BR 35 is an early, midtall cultivar, resistant to Al or Mn toxicity in the soil. It has a good resistance to stem rust, leaf rust, powdery mildew and barley yellow dwarf virus. This cultivar was obtained through the backcross method with a parcial recovery of the recurrent parent.
