Abstract

This integrative review aimed to outline an overview of scientific production – developed from 2006 to 2021 – on the topic of occupational safety in the Brazilian forest sector. The survey was carried out in November 2021, and followed some pre-defined inclusion/ exclusion criteria. The search focused on the databases of the digital platforms SciELO and Google Scholar, generating a total of 105 articles consulted and 23 selected. The results obtained indicated that there is a deficit in the volume of studies on this topic, as well as an uneven distribution of publications between states and over time; in addition, most of the published articles focused efforts on labor aspects related to forestry implantation, maintenance and harvesting activities.
