Abstract

The objective of this work was to study the influence of seed moisture content in seed preservation. The cultivars Mundo Novo and Acaiá of Coffea arabica L. were used. Different seed moisture contents were kept during storage. Germination and vigor test, at monthly intervals, indicated that seed moisture contents between 36% and 40%, calculated in wet basis, were the most favorable in the conditions studied.
