Abstract

The behavior of cultivars V 3476, VC 1000 C, VC 1628 A, VC 1973 A, VC 2719 A, VC 2755 A, VC 2764 A, VC 2768 A. VC 2768 B and Var. Local of Vigna radiata (L.) Wilczek was evaluated, in a Red-Yellow Podzolic soil, in a station of CNPBS, Itagnaí, RJ, during the rainy and dry seasons of 1985/86, although, four of them tested in the dry season of 1986/87, in the treatments: control, inoculation, nitrogen fertilization and cattle manuring. The % of - maturation, during the rainy and dry seasons was of 80% and 100% respectively. The nitrogen fertilization was the best to the control in weight of 100 seeds and grain production, while for the nodulation the inoculation was the best in relation to the cattle manure. The grain and - production during the rainy season was superior to that obtained during the dry season. The number of - per plant and seed weight were the components with highest correlation with the grain production
