This work was undertaken at Escola Superior de Agricultura de Lavras, State of Minas Gerais, Brazil, with the purpose of studying the influence of different sorts of size, number of cleanings and harvest time on incidence of weeds and grain yield. The trial was carried out, obeying to randomized blocks in arrangement which consisted of subdivided parcels with four replicates. It was tested the sizes of three cultivars of corn (Ag-301, C-111 and Piranão VD-2), numbers of cleanings (0, 1 and 2 cleanings) and three harvest times (150, 180 and 210 days). It was observed that the cultivar Piranão VD-2 showed the greatest infestation by weeds; the highest value for grain yield was reached with the cultivar Ag-301 and that incidence of weeds was not influenced by harvest times of Corn.
