Abstract

Red and white blood characteristics were studied at three, six, nine and twelve months of age of goats of both the sexes belonging to Anglo-Nubian grade, Bhuj, Canindé, Moxotó and SRD (Sem Raça Definida) breeds in the Northeast of Brazil. Highly significant breed differences were observed but no sex differences were encountered.
