Abstract

The effect of five rates (1.40, 1.75, 2.10, 2.45 and 2.80 kg ia./ha) of the herbicide etidimuron was tested in a rubber tree (Hevea spp.) nursery during weed pre-emergency and rubber crop post-emergency on several growth stages. The tested herbicide was not found to be selective to rubber tree under these trial conditions providing it determined seedlings death; nevertheless, it controlled most of weeds for up 150 days.
