Abstract

Evaluations were made in five experiments as to response of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) to rates and methods of application of N on two soil types Distrophic Purple Latosol and Eutrophic Purple Latosol in the area of Dourados, MS, Brazil. No rate or method response was encountered for yield/ha, grain density (weight of hectoliter) or thousand-grain weight variables.
