Abstract

The occurrence and population floatation of the following dipterous (Diptera, Calliphoridae): Chrysomya albiceps (Wied.), Chrysomya chloropyga (Wied.) and Chrysomya megacephala (Fab.) are recorded by the first time in the State of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil). These species are considered to be causal agents of cutaneous myiasis in domesticated animals.
