Abstract

Sixteen Holstein calves six months of age were used in an experiment with the purpose of testing the effects of dry "vinhaça" addition with zero, 5 %, 10% and 15% respectively, in substitution of corn ear ground on the digestibility of some nutrients. The total digestible nutrients (TDN) mean values obtained in the 0% of dry "vinhaça" rations was significantly higher than the 10% ration. The data obtained for TDN and the coefficients of digestibility of fiber and crude protein, indicated that is possible the use of dry "vinhaça" in substitution of corn ear ground until levels of 10 % in the bovine rations.
