A program for computation was written in BASIC and executed in a HP-85 microprocessor for calculating the random distribution of fatty acids into triacylglycerol molecules. According to the resulting structures, the triacylglycerols of palm oil, macaúba pulp oil and candellilo fat, analysed by high performance liquid chromatografy (HPLC), were identified.
