The effect of stink-bug Edessa meditabunda (Fabricius 1794) (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae) feeding on soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) was studied. Soybean plants at different stages of growth were artificially infested at various stink-bug population densities. No significant reduction on yield at population as high as ten stink-bugs per 0.5 m of row was obtained. The quality of soybean seed, in terms of a significant percentage of damaged seeds was not affected. Foliar retention was not observed.
