Abstract

This study presents the results of three field experiments using NPK and micro-element fertilization on wheat. The experiments were carried out on the experimental fieIds at Instituto de Pesquisas e Experimentaçáo Agropecuárias do Centro-Oeste, Sete Lagoas, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The results obtained showed no influence of P and K alone, on yield. How ever, NPK with micronutrients, and NPK applications did significantly increase wheat yields indicating that nitrogen was necessary for increasing wheat production ou the soils studied.
