It is reported a research work done with the objetive to investigate the effect of N, P, K, Ca and Mg and its interact on Peanut Crop (Arachis hypogaea L.). The work was done in soils classified as Itaguai and Ecologia series, covering most of the Km 47 area and Baixada de Sepetiba. In the studied soils, relating to the Itaguai series, it was found the lime effect, being that in one of the soils of this series was also found a favorable effect of the magnesium in increasing the peanut production. It was still found the negativeness of potassium in one of the studied soils of Itaguai series, when added lime, magnesium and nitrogen it neutralized the beneficial action of these minerals in the productivity. In the soils of Ecology series, only the effect of magnesium was statistically significant. However the magnesium showed positive reaction when added to the phosphorus and to the potassium, while the lime showed negative reaction in the production, though without statistic significance.
