Several proceedings of analysis are proposed in order to interpretate data in a 2x2 contingency table. Independence tests of row and columns effects are used by the X2 of Pearson, considering data in proportions in dependent and independent samples; preliminary analysis using association measuring; related samples in situations where each individual is considered as self-control; measures of concordance between effects of columns and rows. Several measures of risk factors are also discussed in epidemiological studies. Finally, the sensitivity and specificity of a test in order to diagnosticate individuals in a population are discussed.
