Daily maximum precipitation for five years of return period was evaluated by using historic series of 20 years of daily precipitation. This evaluation was performed with Gumbel and Weibull distribution function from 100 pluviometric stations of the cerrado region. The rain intensity for 24 hours and for 30 minutes was also estimated by indirect method (Isozones) for the period from October to March.
