Abstract

- After four years of testing, four forage oats cultivars were recommended for planting in the region of São Carlos, SP, Brazil. Grain yield evaluation of this material showed that seed and grain production is feasible in this region, since cvs. UPF 2, UPF 3, UPF 7 and São Carlos, recommended for forage purposes, yielded, respectively, 1393, 2523, 1755 and 701 kg/ha (3-year average).
