This research aimed to evaluate the effects of cytokinin, wax and polyethylene bags on skin chlorophyll contents, weight losses, quality and conservation of the 'Tahiti' lime fruits storaged at 7,5-8,5°C and 80-85% of relative umidity during 80 days plus five days at normal environment condition. The chlorophylls "a", "b" and total chlorophylls decreased despite the application of cytokinin and the recovering of fruits. Fruits without covering shrivelled and wrinkled between 30 and 39 days of storage, while the recovered limes maintained the quality for 80 days. Wax recover plus packing in polyethylene bags showed the best results. Shrivelling and colour were similar to the pattern although showing less swelling and skin shining. Lemon juices of the different treatments were similar among themselves and also in relation to that juice of the pattern sample. During the refrigerated storage any fruits presented symptoms of primary infection by mold.Downloads
