Evaluation of soil compaction status was performed in an experimental plot and farming area, in two private farms located in the Federal District, Brazil, that have been used under no-till system for a long period. Two procedures were used: density and mechanical resistance to penetration in soil layers. The results show that no compaction was detected after seven years of cropping, which can be explained by the good original soil physical properties and to the suitable farm management.Downloads
