Abstract

The aim of this work was to study the influence of different scion and rootstock combinations on responses of citrus plants to water deficit in greenhouse. The experimental design was formed by randomized blocks with five replications in the fallowing factorial scheme: five scion varieties; two rootstocks; and two hydro regimes. 'Poncã' tangerine is the scion variety more sensible to water deficit, expressed by leaf water potential, when grafted on 'Swingle' citrumelo. Under severe water deficit, the scion varieties grafted on 'Rangpur' lime present greater development of citric plants scion compared to 'Swingle' citrumelo.
